GO Health Services are proud to have been appointed by Robert Gordon University as the contractor for the provision of occupational health services for students within its Faculty of Health & Social Care.

We offer a wide range of Occupational Health services to students of the University:

  • Pre-Placement Health Screening – GO Health Services will undertake health assessments to ascertain the student’s fitness to study and attend clinical placements.
  • Immunisation Programmes – GO Health Services shall provide advice to the University on relevant immunisation programmes and participate in the delivery of such programmes.
  • Attendance Management / Case Referrals – The University may request an occupational health consultation to ascertain the student’s fitness to study and attend clinical placements work (e.g. following a period of long term or frequent short term absence or where are concerns that health problems are affecting a student’s studies).
  • Management Following Exposure to Blood Borne Viruses – GO Health Services adhere to the NHS Scotland Occupational Health and Safety Standards regarding Care Following Exposure to Blood Borne Viruses.
