First Aid arrangements in the workplace, including appropriately trained personnel, is a requirement of Health & Safety law.

 

GO Health Services provide the following First Aid training:

1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work Course

If your risk assessment has shown that First Aiders are not necessary, then this course will provide the skills and knowledge required for Emergency First Aiders to render necessary First Aid in an emergency situation. The course is also suitable for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures & a qualification in First Aid.
 
2 Day Refresher First Aid at Work

This course updates existing First Aiders so that they can continue to render First Aid in the Workplace.  The course will enable students to get help & give safe, prompt & effective First Aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness using materials to hand and first aid equipment.
 
3 Day First Aid at Work
 
To enable students to get help & give safe, prompt & effective First Aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness using materials to hand and first aid equipment.
 
Risk Management Procedures and Guidelines can be found on their intranet site, including guidance on being a designated First Aider and the implementation of the NHS Scotland First Aider Allowance.
